Fun Times!

Doesn't she look FABULOUS in leopard???

Kayleigh will be 1 year old in just 17 days...can you believe it? Where has time gone? She is so funny and literally learns at least one new thing every day! Still no walking, but the girl knows how to go where she wants to go! Recently, she started to walk if someone is holding her hands and she's doing great with that (when she feels like it!). She is up to 8 teeth, 4 on top and 4 on bottom and eating everything put in front of her. Stay tuned for Halloween pictures- I wonder what she'll be!?!

6 Teeth and Counting!

Kayleigh continues to do well! She is still not crawling yet, but always manages to get where she wants to go and grab her toys. It seems like she discovers new things everyday! When she drops things now, she tries to say, "Oh oh." Usually she only gets out the first syllable-too cute! Her four top teeth have finally poked through the gums, which has given her some relief! Thank goodness!!!

Summer Fun!!!

Kayleigh has had quite a busy summer! We had a BBQ on the 4th of July, unfortunately, Kayleigh slept through the fireworks- maybe next year! She LOVES splashing around in the pool and floating in her boat. Also, we took a trip down to Huntington Beach to visit our friends Brandon and Shagha (while our kitchen was being demolished for a remodel). Kayleigh did a great job in the car and slept like a baby (haha) in her pack-n-play. However, she was not a big fan of the beach or the ocean. Oh well, we had a great time and look forward to many more trips in the future!

8 months (almost)!!!

Feeding herself a cracker for the 1st time/ Wearing Mommy's glasses

Eating her little piggies/Reading books (she loves Ernie!)

Kayleigh continues to thrive! At her last check-up, she weighed in at 21 lbs 5 oz and 26 inches. So, in the 8 (almost) months she's been alive, she has gained 14 pounds and 6 inches in length!!! I guess we're doing something right! Still no teeth, but one will be poking out any day now hopefully. Kayeigh is a great eater (obviously) and loves veggies. Her favorite food right now is mac and cheese, homemade by Mommy- thank you very much! Everyday Kayleigh seems to observe and learn something new and is a chatter box-oh my goodness, what a JOY!!!

Summertime!

Swimming with her Daddy!!! Nike Chick

Kayleigh and cousin Savannah! Lovin' that Leopard!!!

Well,

We had 3 blazing hot days (over 100) last week, so we decided to introduce Kayleigh to the pool! First we dipped her toes in, then her hands, and pretty soon, she was sitting on the first step. She loved it and splashed around for about 15 minutes!!! We are hoping she will love the pool like we do so we can enjoy it as a family.

Still no teeth yet, but she's chewing away. Kayleigh goes in for her 6 month check-up (a little late) next week and we'll update you on her height/weight then!

Sitting Up

Kayleigh & her Bear
Big Smile!!!
Sittin' Pretty

Our Family!!!

Well,

Miss Kayleigh continues to hit new milestones on schedule! She is now sitting up by herself (and probably would have been even sooner if we had given her the chance). It's so fun to watch her experience the world from a whole new prospective. Instead of looking over at things and playing on her back or tummy, she looks at things at eye level and sees her toys in a new way! Don't get me wrong, she still topples over, but she is doing fabulous! She babbles ALL the time and gets tickled by the simplest things. Her laugh is contagious and is one of the best sounds in the entire world! Still no pearly whites yet, but she is chewing on EVERYTHING!!!

Posing Pretty in my Easter Dress

Well, Kayleigh is now 5 months old...how time flies!!! She is getting big and seems to discover new things around her everyday. Also, she has learned how to project her voice and make different pitches. She is getting her own little personality and definitely knows what she likes and dislikes!!! Kayleigh loves her rice cereal mixed with carrots or squash.
